IndexNow – automatic search engine notifications

Help search engines discover changes to your online store more quickly with IndexNow.

When you add, update or remove products, categories and pages, search engines may take time to discover those changes. With IndexNow, Talex can automatically notify participating search engines when content on your online store changes.

How does it work?

Talex automatically collects changed URLs and submits them to IndexNow at regular intervals. This includes changes made through your store's administration area, the Talex API and connected external systems, provided the changes are registered through Talex.

You don't need to submit URLs manually or manage any technical settings. Talex handles the notifications for you.

Which search engines support IndexNow?

IndexNow is supported by several search engines, including:

• Bing – Microsoft's search engine, used in both Swedish and international markets.

• Yandex – a search engine with a strong presence in certain international markets.

• Yep – a search engine that supports IndexNow.

• Naver and Seznam.cz – search engines primarily used in South Korea and the Czech Republic, respectively.

Through the shared IndexNow service, notifications are distributed to participating search engines that support the protocol.

Please note: Google does not support IndexNow. The service complements your XML sitemaps and other SEO efforts but does not replace them.
